Check this out!
A former classmate and “Mompreneur”, Sarah Henshaw recently asked me to take pictures of her great products Baby Flair Hair Wear .
She has created hair barrettes, headbands and clips that stay in your child’s hair, even if they only have a little bit!
Be sure to check out her site for some great products! And check back soon for new products too!
They really do stay in even the littest bit of hair!
And both Sarah and I would really like to thank the great moms who came out to help us and brought along their beautiful children.
(Stay tuned…your gallery will be posted soon!)

…hiding up in the apple tree, there was a mud puddle!
On Sunday we coaxed Emma into splashing around in some mud puddles on “Winegard Walk” at the University of Guelph (I can’t believe how much it has changed in…uh, thirteen years – wow). We took more photos than parents rightfully should, however we did get some rather cool shots. Don’t worry…Emma warded off the mud puddle with two bars of smelly yellow soap afterwards

“Art On The Street”
Yesterday afternoon we braved the humidity to check out “Art On The Street” in downtown Guelph. Lots of people in attendance and tonnes of very talented painters, jewelry makers, photographers, and ceramic makers. Certainly glad we were able to make it down.
Caught this photo of Emma trying to keep up with her melting cone while grabbing a few minutes in the shade… c[_]

Last Saturday
This Saturday past my sister invited me along with her to a fundraising walk for Paediatric Brain Tumour Research. The walk was in memory of a little girl named Jessica. You can see her story here www.jessicasfootprint.com I believe it was only their 3rd year for the walk and there were over 1400 walkers and they raised over $195 000. It was quite a moving experience to be part of such a important event. I hope to take part again next year.
After the event I was able to capture this picture of Emma with her “footprint” tattoo from the walk.
And back to business, I am heading out to shoot the M family tomorrow. We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that we don’t get these thunderstorms that they’re calling for.
